OPERATION FOR THE APOCALYPSE, abbreviated as simply OFTA is an organisation that surfaced a few years after the original outbreak. Led by the Torchbearer, a group of soldiers opposed the advancement of the Federation on the continent. The stories of a David against Goliath fight circulated everywhere and thus, the legends of the Torchbearer and his exploits were made legends among the people who shared the same hatred towards the government. Realizing that a lot of people shared the same vision, they soon joined him in his crusade and became his followers. The OFTA quickly started to grow and to ensure their constant growth, they have people coming into towns and villages to take young potential soldiers. The operations carried by the organisation have for the most, drifted away from their main goal which was to stop the expansion of the Federation but there still are a few specialized squad that still follow the original vision and are rumoured to even be under the direct orders of the Torchbearer himself.
