THE ONLINE TRADING CARD GAME
As the leader of your squad, face-off against other forces for resources and power. As a branch of the faction of your choice, you will have to prove your strength by collecting cards to build a battle worthy squadron.
You can choose between five different factions, each having their own special game style and unique combos.
Also known as simply SFF, it is the newest government in place since the outbreak. Multiple cities all around America are part of the federation while the federal government is set in the city of San Francisco itself. Being the strongest force on the continent, the Federation has a large number of troops spread out everywhere. Armed with what could be considered the best artillery, the soldiers are well disciplined and followed a rigorous training for almost any kind of operation going from search and rescue to infiltration and even full frontal attack.
FACTIONS
Most commonly referred as OFTA, this guerilla doesn't really have any central point of command. It is mostly constituted of large troops all around America. Recruiting almost anyone that share their hatred towards the SFF, they are growing stronger by the minute. Putting aside the scavenging and the raids, their main goal is to attack and impair the development and progress of any kind government. The new followers are trained by older and more experienced members that all answer to the war commander of their group.
Everyone inside of towns and villages that aren't part of the federation are considered as survivors. Residing inside those locations are civilians, mercenaries, traders and much more. The locals are responsible for their own defense against OFTA invaders or the infected. The survivors are really diverse when it comes to skill sets, because of the fact that it is mostly every man for himself, everyone has to be able to fend themselves. Among the locals, you can find veterans, aspiring soldiers, travelling mercenaries and much more.
Following the last attempts to end the spread of the contamination, a large group of people were affected by the radiation of the bombs used. As the hospitals fell and any form of society, those who suffered radiation illness were denied access to any shelter or survivor city as they were considered freaks. They found refuge in the forests and abandoned regions by fear of being mistaken for infected of the plague. Living between themselves as different tribes, they work together to survive even after having suffered major loss fighting against the infected.
The first strain of the virus was airborne and infected a certain percentage of the population that wasn't naturally immune to it. Following the first wave of infected, came the second strain that was propagated through contact with infected body fluid (blood, saliva...). The infected of those two strains are the most similar, the only difference is their movement speed, hence why they are categorized into walkers or runners. As the years passed, the infected became less of a threat as the humans got more prepared to face them. However, the past few years, there was a rumour going that maybe one or multiple new strains began to surface.
